Welcome to the Manchester Supplementary Schools Network′s site where you will find information on the objectives, activities, working partnerships, funding and information on supplementary schools in Manchester. These schools offer great contribution and enrich the education of our ethnic minority pupils.
The objective of the network is
- To support and promote the work of the Supplementary Schools in Manchester
- To establish a network of such schools and encourage community cohesion
- To encourage partnership and participation from statutory bodies

Attending wider network meetings and conferences for Supplementary schools

Demonstrates degree of inter-community cohesion that is second to none and the strength of partnership working.

Newsletters Production
bi-monthly newsletter containing regular information on major events, relevant information on this sector and dissemination of Grant opportunities from various sources. Provides a forum where member schools post articles and/or publicise forth coming events.
Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Team Support
The D&I Team provides administrative support to MSSN that includes CRB Checks of all member school teachers in accordance with the New Statutory requirements within the Every Child Matters Agenda and Specifically under the Safeguarding of Children Section.
The D&I Team also provides visits to member schools to undertake formal monitoring of schools, informal discussions and supportive evaluations and of course the CRB checks as mentioned above.
